Earls­brook holds party in sun­shine

RES­I­DENTS of Earls­brook Nurs­ing Home in Bray en­joyed their an­nual gar­den party re­cently on the grounds of the Meath Road premises.

They wel­comed fam­ily and friends to the party, as well as res­i­dents of sis­ter-fa­cil­ity, Blain­roe Nurs­ing Home.

Mem­bers of so­cial care team worked hard to en­sure ev­ery­one had a fan­tas­tic time. The day in­cluded straw­ber­ries and cream, tea and cake, bis­cuits, a choco­late foun­tain and plenty of chat­ting. There was live mu­sic and a raf­fle. Win­ners re­ceived gift bas­kets of toi­letries.

The event was a fundrais­ing day for the a Alzheimer So­ci­ety and they raised sev­eral hun­dred Eu­ros.

The team will be in touch with the so­ci­ety shortly to ar­range the hand­ing over of a cheque.

There was a lovely at­mos­phere on the day and, thank­fully, pleas­ant sun­shine.

Vis­i­tors were de­lighted to spend time with their loved ones in the beau­ti­ful grounds.
