Mr and Mrs Bear welcomed teddy bears and their children to Killruddery House last Sunday afternoon for the annual picnic.

The day included acoustic music and families brought along a picnic to enjoy on the lawns.

The specialists in the hospital ensured that any of the teddys feeling a little under the weather or injured went home feeling brand new. There were traditional toys for the children to play with, including hula hoops, balls, giant chess and much more.

There was a delicious barbecue on the go for anyone feeling a bit peckish, and other treats in the tea room.

Goldilocks and her bear popped by, representing the Cool Food School.

The children peeled and chopped all the veg they brought, and the rain did not deter them from having fun.

This was a magical family day out at Killruddery, and everyone appreciated the simple joys of imaginative play
