Dart and train services resume

-

Dart and train services returned to normal earlier than expected, following a catastrophic fire at Bray Dart Station.

Services returned from Sunday morning, after being suspended or on extremely limited rushhour schedules all week.

This followed signalling damage caused by a fire in the signalling relay room at Bray on Friday, May 18.

All services between Greystones and Dalkey were suspended that initial weekend. There were limited transfers by bus, including services meeting the train coming from Wexford.

A reduced service was provided in the morning and evening peak times from Monday to Friday.

Works expected to continue into Monday, May 28, but repairs were done more swiftly.

Customer information signage at stations was not in operation on Sunday, and realtime information online was not accurate.
