Clients hit the catwalk to boost Purple House coffers

-

Purple House had a glamorous evening recently at Bray Golf Club with a glittering fashion show.

Cancer survivors and people affected by cancer made their debut on the catwalk as part of the fundraaising event.

The event was a very special one as it featured a range of people who have been affected by a cancer diagnosis and who are service users of Purple House Cancer Support Centre in Bray.

The clothes for the show were supplied by local businesses and include: Avoca, Fishers of NewtownMountKennedy, Darcy & Grey, Tanseys, Pure Boutique Foxrock, Frocks & Frills, Sarah McGahon Milliner, Ann Gregory Bridal, as well as clothes from the Purple House Boutique in Bray.

Lauren Kelly from Spin 103.8 hosted the event. Lauren is also an ambassador for Purple House.

Funds raised on the night will help support over 1,000 families who use Purple House and are affected by cancer in Wicklow, Dublin and wider Leinster.

The 2018 class timetable carries a wide variety of workshops and classes for everyone to chose from, and one-to-one counselling and complimentary therapies are delivered daily.
