Tale of a magical world
AUDIENCES enjoyed a performance of ‘Witchwood’ last Thursday at North Wicklow Educate Together school in Bray.
Students from the music and drama clubs joined forces to produce the show, which was written by Mark Rudd.
Witchwood is a darkly comic fantasy involving a world of witches, wizards, elves, goblins and, in the Tolkien tradition, even talking trees.
The talented students impressed their friends, families and teachers with a lively and entertaining night of drama and music.
They received a huge round of applause for their efforts.
The play was directed by Emer Foley, with assistant director Beartla deBurca and musical director Dara McGarrigle-Woodman.
The evening included a raffle with some great prizes, as well as a cafe selling tea and coffee, ice-cream and homemade treats.
