Walkers rescued near to Hellfire Club

WICKLOW’S Mountain Rescue teas had to assist a group of walkers back to their vehicles after they became lost while walking on Montpelier Hill in Dublin.

The Glen of Imaal and the Dublin and Wicklow Mountain Rescue Teas were contacted late on the night of Saturday, May 26, at 11.51 p.m. and were tasked by An Garda Síochána to find the walkers who had become disorientated while returning from the Hellfire Club and ended up straying way off location. The mountain rescue personnel quickly found the group and medically assessed them. The mountain rescue crews escorted the walkers back to their vehicle and the whole incident was stood down at 12.48 a.m..
