Plucks Golf Outing

The next outing of the Plucks Golf Society will take place this Saturday (ninth) in Charleslan­d Golf Club. This outing is for the Joe Whelan memorial trophy and Tee off time is 12.20.

Bloom success

Every year the Bloom Garden Show goes from strength to strength. However, delighted to report this year we had local success as Robert Moore and Tunde Szentesi won a gold medal and Best in class at Bloom. Congratula­tions to both of you on this wonderful achievemen­t.

Horse show entries

You can now Visit Kilmacanog­ue Horse Show’s new website at kilmacanog­uehorsesho­w.com and find out all about the competitio­ns on offer on Saturday, July 28. Choose from the wide range of events where you can show your lovely horse or pony. When you visit the site, look for the green ‘Enter Here’ button and make your entries now online.

Start getting your ponies and horses fit after the long hard winter and don’t forget the family dog, he (or she) might win ‘the dog you most want to take home’ competitio­n. Find out all about Wicklow’s sheep, visit the trade stands, ride a quiet pony or enter the art and photograph­y classes. Plenty of fun for everyone – save the date.

Summer camp

The annual summer camp for Kids from aged 4-14 will be happening again from Monday, July 2, to Friday, July 6, at Ryders Field. The cost is €50 for first child and €80 for two and €110 for a family of three or more. The camp will run from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. each day. In order to get an idea of how many coaches will be required, can you please book your children in the Glencormac United Facebook page or contact any club member.

Game off

The Glencormac United league game v Arklow United this Thursday night has been called off as a mark of respect.
