HOME AND AWAY
John seeks out Ty to speak with him after his argument with Raffy. Given his past, Ty admits a feeling of uncertainty about settling into the family, believing he’ll be shunted away again before long. John reassures him that his placement with the Palmer family is permanent, and they’re thrilled about that. Ty is slightly reassured.
Marilyn is upset with Raffy for speaking to Ty like she did. Raffy tries to defend herself – while also keeping Ty’s secret about his plan to flee when he turns 16 – but Marilyn insists Raffy makes more of an effort. She promises she will and follows through with this when she and Ty are heading to school the next morning. However, the minute Raffy spies Ryder, Ty is forgotten.
