Major Minors summer concert
Major Minors Junior Orchestra put on their annual summer concert in St Fergal’s church in Bray last Thursday.
The audience of parents, grandparents and friends were treated to pieces performed by the full orchestra, as well as solo and ensemble performances by individual members.
The orchestra has been rehearsing for this concert since January and it was a great success.
Major Minors Junior Orchestra rehearses every Thursday from 4.30 to 5.30 p.m. at Bray School Project. The orchestra is open to all primary school age musicians and new members are welcome. It welcomes violins, violas, cellos, recorders, flutes, clarinets,oboes, percussion and keyboard players, and would be delighted to hear from a double bass player.
An instrument loan scheme is operated by the orchestra.
