Greystones Men’s Shed is open at the first Wicklow Scout Hall on Church Road.

All men – younger and older, working, retired, and unemployed, are welcome on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, from 10.30 a.m. to 12.30 p.m. For more informatio­n call Jim at 089 2540586 or email greystones­mensshed@gmail.com. will be broken back into the smaller blankets.

These 5’ square blankets will be used in Ireland or sent overseas to refugees.

You do not have to make up a 5’ square blanket yourself, just knitting the squares would be a big help.

Greystones Cancer Support has all the details on needle size, wool, colours and designs. They can also provide the wool if you do not have your own odds and ends. Anyone with double knitting wool to spare is asked to let them know.
