A SOUTH Wicklow hotel has won a top European hospitality award.
BrookLodge & Macreddin Village in Aughrim is this week celebrating being named as the Luxury Eco-Friendly Hotel of the Year in the LTG European Awards 2018.
The LTG European Awards programme recognises consistent performance in the luxury travel and hospitality industry. Nominees are put forward by industry experts, readers and satisfied customers. The in-house professionals and celebrity guest judges will then pick those most deserving of recognition.
Throughout the past 12 months, Luxury Travel Guide received 19,243 nominations from 32 countries and winners were chosen for specialism, location, facilities and most importantly service excellence.

The judging panel for the awards included TV personalities Claire Newell (Travel Expert), Marianela Pereyra (Resident Beach Expert), luxury hospitality photographer Antonio Cuellar, as well as the in-house team at Luxury Travel Guide.

The winner’s publication will highlight the very best holiday destinations, luxury accommodation, spas, restaurants, and more.
