On Saturday, new Rose to be picked

-

ON SATURDAY evening, Wicklow Roses will gather at the Arklow Bay Hotel for a night full of entertainment, glamour and above all great fun as we find out who will represent Wicklow at the Dome in Tralee 2018. Roses will appear on stage to speak with MC Ollie Turner and get an opportunity to do a party piece of their choice if they so wish. All applicants will be interviewed by a judging panel prior to Rose Selection night.

The girl who is chosen as the 2018 Wicklow Rose will walk away with an array of prizes from a selection of jewellery from newly announced lead sponsor of the Rose of Tralee International Festival Tipperary Crystal, and of course the coveted Wicklow sash to go on to represent Wicklow in the Dome in Tralee.

This unique celebration, to be held over ten days in Tralee, will offer the 58 Roses a wonderful experience together with a festival of fun for their families and friends.

‘ The Wicklow Rose selection of 2018 promises to be a life changing experience for one lucky rose,’ said Wicklow Rose co-ordinator Lyn Moloney.

Tickets at €25 include a drinks reception, programme and treats and will be available on Saturday. Doors open at 6.15 p.m. with the show starting at 7.30 p.m. To enter the competition contact wicklowroseoftralee@gmail.com or Lyn at 083 4631611 or Steve at 0862505791.
