A CELEBRATION OF SONG

The Wicklow Community Choir, The Avoca Valley singers, Cheile community choir, Primark Workplace Choir and Icon Workplace choir will perform ‘A celebration of Song’ in St Patrick’s Church Wicklow Town on Saturday, June 16, starting at 8 p.m. This promises to be a great nights entertainment and pro- ceeds will be donated to the very worthy cause AWARE Tickets are €15 and can be purchased from any choir member (which I happen to be one), Track One Music Store or on the door.

LUNCH CLUB

A reminder that the Active Retirement Lunch club will take place on Friday, June 22, in Chester Beattys at 1.30 p.m.

DIAMOND BRIDGE

Monica Brady and Clare Sally made the most of their final night of bridge by taking first place for North/South on Monday, May 28, second Declan O’Brien and Triona Woodroofe and third Séamus Kennedy and Pauric Gleeson. First for East/West were Paddy O’Brien and Rory Egan, second Christine Campbell and Geraldine Barnes and third Teresa Leahy and Catherine Halligan.

BLESSING OF GRAVES

The annual Parish Cemetery Sunday/Pattern Sunday will take place on Sunday, July 22. Please note that 11.30 a.m. Mass will be celebrated in Roundwood Cemetery not in the church on this morning. This Mass will be offered for all interred in the cemetery and will include a blessing of the graves.

ACTIVE RETIRED HOLIDAY

The Roundwood Active Retirement holiday will take place from the Monday, September 24, till the Friday, September 28, to the Tara Hotel in Waterford. Anyone interested should pay their deposit to Betty or Molly before July 1.
