Sad farewell at funeral of Vincent

THE FUNERAL of Vincent McCullagh-Kelly took place this week in Harold’s Cross in Dublin. Mr McCullagh-Kelly (45), of Newtownmou­ntkennedy, died after being found unconsciou­s on Bray’s Main Street in the early hours of Saturday, June 9.

He is survived by his wife Heather, daughters Catherine and Amber, sons John-Vincent and Denis, his siblings, relatives and friends.

There were prayers last Monday afternoon at the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross, before cremation.

Mr McCullagh-Kelly had lain in repose on Saturday and Sunday at Patrick O’Donovan and Son Funeral Home, Sallynoggi­n.

He was found outside the Royal Hotel at around 2 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, June 9, with head injuries. He was taken to St Vincent’s Hospital and then Beaumont Hospital, where he died on the morning of Sunday, June 10.

Gardaí continue to investigat­e. They are following a definite line of enquiry and have taken statements.
