Broadway show comes to Enniskerry village

-

The community of Enniskerry, supported by Enniskerry FC is running a fund raising programme to re-build the ‘Cage’ 5-a-side astro facility in the Bog Meadow.

Two bag packs have been held thanks to the good folks in Dunnes, Cornelscourt, raising over €4,000.

Now the village is coming together to stage a gala fundraising event, The Enniskerry Broadway Show.

The event takes place Saturday November 3, in the Powerscourt Hotel, Powerscourt Estate. The launch was held recently at the Powerscourt Arms.

This is very much a cross-community event to create a better facility for everyone in the Bog Meadow.

All Enniskerry’s major clubs and user groups are invited to display their musical talents with team participants drawn from a wide range of schools, groups, clubs and businesses in the community.

The audience will enjoy an amazing night of entertainment thanks to the efforts of all the performers.

All funds raised will be held in a dedicated savings account specifically for the project.

Teams will start taking shape over the summer, all of whom are making possible the event of the year, the Enniskerry Broadway Show.

Organisers extend big thanks also to their first amazing sponsors, Gaelic Plant Hire, and Universal Music, who are helping to make this exciting project a reality.
