Heist netted haul worth over £750,000

A robbery in Greystones last February netted jewellery and other goods to the value of more than three quarters of a million pounds, ,it emerged this week.
£750,000 worth of jewellery, a video recorder, and £1,700 in US dollars were taken in the robbery, which occurred at the home of an elderly couple.
The value of the heist came to light when a local man appeared beefore Bray Court and was charged in connection with the incident.
during the raid two elderly householders, aged in their 80s, were locked in their bathroom.
The 19-year-old was charged with committing a robbery at the home in Greystones on April 27, and with falsely imprisoning the two householders, aged 87 and 84 respectively, on the same occasion.
