CFR training
The trainers of CPR would like to say well done and thanks to all the sixth class pupils, Ms Redmond (class teacher) and Ms Murray (Principal) at Kilmacanogue National School for taking part in a CPR/AED familiarisation training session recently.
The training was organised by our local Community First Responder group (Kilmac CFR).
The students found the hands on training very interesting and the importance of knowing their EIRCODE and how it helps to quickly pinpoint a patience’s location to the National Ambulance Service, saving precious time in the event of a medical emergency. This type of training and introduction to CPR at such a young age could prove invaluable to someone in the future so well done to everyone involved.
