Man is arrested in Vincent case
GARDAI investigating the death of Vincent McCullagh-Kelly in Bray on June 9, have arrested a man in his 40s.
The man was arrested last Friday morning, detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 of the criminal justice act, and released without charge.
A file is being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions. Investigating Gardaí are again appealing for witnesses or anyone with information to contact Bray Garda Station on 01 6665300, the Garda Confidential Line on 1800 666 111 or any Garda station.
Mr McCullagh-Kelly (45) was found on the Main Street in Bray at around 2 a.m. on Saturday, June 9. Emergency services attended the scene. He was found unconscious and had a serious head injury. He was taken to Beaumont Hospital for treatment and subsequently pronounced dead in the early hours of Sunday, June 10. The deceased man was a native of Newtownmounkennedy. He is survived by his wife Heather, daughters Catherine and Amber, sons John-Vincent and Denis, his siblings, relatives and friends.
His funeral took place recently at the Garden Chapel, Mount Jerome Cemetery, Harold’s Cross, before cremation.
