Thanks from Tidy Towns

-

JOHN SUTHERLAND of Bray Municipal District was complimented by Bray Tidy Towns as they made a presentation to mark his retirement.

John’s role was head of the seafront team. Their responsibilities include keeping the seafront neat and tidy, maintaining the grass and foliage, and more.

Representatives of Bray Tidy Towns said that John has been devoted to his work and to Bray, and has always exceeded any expectations.

He has a great love of the seafront and is a friend to Tidy Towns. They said that John and his team always have the area looking wonderful. This is often most noticeable after the air display, when the clean-up operation gets the seafront back in order in no time.

‘We felt it was incumbent to us to present John with an award,’ said a Tidy Towns representative.

They gave him a painting of the seafront railings by local woman Emma Doyle.
