Active retirement

While on the summer break, Greystones Active Retirements still has day trips organised for July and August.

On Wednesday, July 18, they go to County Wexford to visit Secret Valley wildlife park and zoo, Gorey, and WExford Lavender Farm, Inch.

On Wednesday, August 22, they will visit Wells House and Gardens, Ballyedmond, Gorey, and Cois na hAbhann Garden, Home and Lifestyle Centre, Camolin.

The cost is €30 with the coach leaving the Holy Rosary car park at 9.30 a.m. Information for both trips is available from Elsie Kelly at 087 7468426. GCS singing group Canadh Le Chéile and there will be a free raffle. Call 01 2871610 to book. Organisers request a donation of €10 towards costs.
