All the ducks in a row in Newcastle

THERE will be a duck race in Newcastle on Sunday, July 22.

The family fun event which takes place between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m. in the Castle Inn car park with the duck race itself taking place at 5 p.m.

First prize is €150; second prize is €75 and €25 for third and fourth place. The cost of each duck is €5 and they are for sale locally.

All proceeds raised will go to the Newcastle Community Centre.
