TESCO shoppers in the county will be able to support local clubs, festivals and societies over the next two months as supermarket has announced the latest beneficiaries of its Tesco Community Fund.

Customers can use the blue tokens they get at the tills to support these local groups and, at the end of the eight weeks, the tokens are counted and up to €1,000 is shared proportionally between the three causes.

Shoppers in Tesco Arklow will be able to lend their support to the Irish Society For Autism, Arklow & District Asthma Society or Arklow Alzheimer’s Society while those in Kilcoole Express can choose from Kilcoole Lodge, Gavin Glynn Foundation and The Monkey Sanctuary.

In both Tesco Bray and Bray Express, shoppers can give their blue tokens to Jai Sua Muay Thai, Mr Sand’S Theatre Group or Enniskerry Boxing Club.
