Disposalof waste

The case of an Arklow woman accused of a waste management offence has been adjourned for a hearing date.

Ann Connors of 5 Vale Road, Arklow, is charged with disposing of waste in a manner likely to cause environmental pollution.

The case was taken by Wicklow County Council and Arklow District Court heard on Wednesday that the council is eager to proceed with the hearing as soon as possible as the area in question is a littering black spot,

The matter was adjourned to September 12.
