The ICA guild meets on the second Monday of the month at 3.30 p.m. in St Anne’s Resource Centre. Craft Morning takes place in St Anne’s Resource Centre on Tuesday mornings from 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m. Culture outings are held at different times throughout the year. SHANKILL GAA CLUB
The juvenile Academy Sponsored by O’Donnell’s Pharmacy is taking a summer break and will resume activities in early August at 10 a.m. on Saturdays in Stonebridge Road.
Our older team’s members should check with their team manager for summer training times and other and activities.
Many thanks to Sherry Fitzgerald for their partnering with our under-eight girls’ football and camogie teams. Our Kellogg’s Cúl Camp will be held from Monday, August 20, to Friday, August 24 – to book a place see kelloggsculcamps.gaa.ie.
In the Chase the Ace draw in Brady’s last Sunday week there was no jackpot winner – the €50 prize went Geraldine Hickey. Last week’s jackpot was €650. Tickets are €2 each or three for €5.
Well done to our 10 new coaches who just completed the foundation coaching course – they are very welcome.

SHANKILL TIDY TOWNS
On Monday, August 6, Rob Goodbody will lead a ‘Railways of Shankill Historic Walk’ departing at 2 p.m. from Shankill Dart Station. All welcome free. This is the latest walk in the series of historical walks organised by the Shankill Tidy Towns. Please note that this is a community activity organised by volunteers who accept no liability for injuries or loss caused to participants in the above walk.
50TH ANNIVERSARY OF ST ANTHONY’S CHURCH.
St Anthony’s Church, Kilcoole, will celebrate its 50th Anniversary on July 29 this year with Mass at midday in Kilcoole. As part of our year of celebration we would like to do a photo display of events taking place in the church over the past 50 years. It would be wonderful if you could share some photos of your church celebrations with us.
