Invitation to play social tennis

WICKLOW Tennis Club in association with the Wicklow Regatta Festival invites anyone aged 14 and over to join them in a special social tennis event.

It takes place on Monday, August 6 at 7.30 p.m. and is open to everyone. The only rule is that non-members wear runners.

There is no need to register in advance, participants can simply turn up at the clubhouse for 7.30 p.m.

Well done to all the club’s teams participating in the current Dublin Lawn Tennis Council Mixed League. With one round robin match remaining for each team this Wednesday, there is still a strong possibility of some teams qualifying for the play-offs on Friday, August 10.

A reminder to all members that the closing date for the Ashvale Crèche Junior Championships is today, Wednesday, August 1, at 6 p.m. and for the Sinnott Skoda Senior Championships it is this Thursday at 9 p.m.
