Woman fined for expired NCT

A woman was fined €100 at Bray District Court for using a vehicle without a valid NCT certificate.

Anne Sexton of 2 Riddlesfort, Southern Cross Road, Bray, was charged with failure to produce an NCT certificate and using a vehicle without an NCT certificate at Mill Road, Greystones, on November 8, 2017.

Her NCT certificate had expired on January 30, 2017. During last Thursday’s sitting of Bray District Court, the defendant informed Judge David Kennedy that she had spent a considerable sum of money on her vehicle but it had still failed the test on more than one occasion.
