Woman and child transferred to hospital after Carnew crash
A WOMAN and child were transferred to hospital following a road accident in Carnew on Saturday morning.
The incident took place at Emmet Place at approximately 6 a.m.
The single vehicle collision was attended by fire crews from Carnew and Tinahely as well as the National Ambulance Service.
The occupants were not reported to have sustained serious injury.
Wicklow Fire Service reminded motorists to exercise extreme care in changing weather conditions following the recent drought.
