Popularity of FAI soccer camps continues to rise in Wicklow

-

COOLBOY RANGERS hosted the most recent Sports Direct FAI Summer Soccer Schools camp with a huge number of children from the local area taking place.

There will be eight of the camps in Wicklow by the end of the summer and FAI Development Officer for Wicklow Richard Fitzgibbon said that five of those camps are sold out with limited numbers still available in the Blessington and Aughrim camps which are still to come.

The camps operate for five days of fun filled coaching with FAI accredited coaches. Each child receives an exclusive kit, backpack, football and certificate and there are special family discounts available.

An impressive 400 camps will have been enjoyed across Ireland by the end of the summer.

Already in Wicklow there have been camps in Rathnew, Shillelagh, Bray and last week’s in Coolboy. This week the fun and games move to Arklow in Ferndale Park which is sold out. There will be a break for a week then before the camps arrive in Blessington and Greystones with the Greystones camp being sold out already. Finally, the last camp of the summer, from August 20 to 24, Aughrim Rangers will play host to the very popular camp before the dreaded return to school arrives.
