Chess championships at the Esplanade hotel

Bray Chess Open Club Championships 2018 take place over six Wednesdays, from August 22 until September 26.

Competitions will take place from 7 p.m. each evening in the ballroom of the Esplanade Hotel.

The competitions are time control, ‘Fischer Slow’ (90 minutes and 30 second increments.)

There will be 0.5 point byes, except for round six, at the controller’s discretion.

The entry fee is €30, or €20 concession for seniors, unemployed, under-18 or student.

There is an online payment facility available at icu.ie. Cheques can be made payable to Bray Chess Club and may be post to Mervyn Honner, 35 Ardmore Wood, Bray.
