Over 150 people attend business network event

-

WEST Wicklow businessman Pat Lee hosted a successful networking event with a difference at his Baltinglass premises recently.

The event which was organised in conjunction with the West Wicklow Business Network, of which Pat is a member, was a great success and over 150 guests enjoyed the chance to mingle with fellow business owners from the district and enjoy a summer barbecue.

On the grill were Wagyu burgers from John Hourigan’s farm in Donard and gourmet hotdogs, prepared by the Hangry for Hot Dogs company while glasses were kept topped up with craft beer from Manor Brewery in neighbouring Manor Kilbride.

The Electrical Pumps and Engineering premises was an unusual yet interesting venue to host the event and attendees got great insight into Pat’s diverse and innovative customised products manufactured onsite.

As well as bespoke manufacturing, Pat provides electrical, engineering and pumping expertise.

An example of how Pat adapted to market changes was to launch a new Ice Bath system for Aqua Fitness and recovery.

The key message of the night was ‘Stronger Together’, showing that businesses in the West Wicklow area can achieve much more working together and supporting one another than they can alone.
