PROPOSED BUS ROUTES

Join us on Wednesday, August 8, in Forester’s Hall, Kilcoole, at 7.30 p.m. for a public meeting to discuss the proposed upgrades to the Dublin Bus networks and how the changes will affect Newcastle. Minister Simon Harris, Alice O’Donnell, Cllr Grainne McLoughlin, and Cllr Derek Mitchell will be there to answer questions and listen to residents’ views.

The proposed changes include: * Replacing the 84 and 184 with Bray, Greystones, Charleslan­d bus running every 20 minutes and carrying on to Kilcoole, Newcastle, Kiladreena­n, Newtown, Delgany every 40 minutes, increasing weekday and weekend bus frequency. It will also provide connectivi­ty to Newtown for the first time and retaining the 84X at peak hours. * An ‘around Greystones service’ every 30 minutes. * Increasing
