Kids’ day at WSPCA

WICKLOW SPCA will be hosting a fun-filled children’s day from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, August 26.

Visitors to the sanctuary at Sharpeshill near Rathdrum will be able to enjoy pony rides with Tina Binions of Healing Hands Therapeutic Riding Centre and bring along their canine compaion to take part in some dog training with Emmaline Duffy Fallon of Citizen Canine Ireland.

Black Sheep Crafts will be there with a selection of their knitted wares and there will also be a children’s book stall.

As always, children and their families will have the opportunity to meet some of the lovely dogs and cats staying at Sharpeshill who would dearly love to find their forever homes.
