The Medieval Bray Project is looking for volunteers to come and join them between 10 a.m.

Glendalough Heritage Forum has organised a guided tour of the UCD School of Architecture excavations at Glendalough. Guests can examine the trenches and artefacts and find out how archaeologists figure out the stories beneath the soil. Participants should meet at the round tower ahead of a 2 p.m. start. Liz Gardner will present a free talk and exhibition detailing the construction of the Poulaphouca Reservoir, the historic flooding of the valley in the 1940s leading to the formation of the present-day Blessington Lakes. Roundwood and District Men’s Shed present this talk by Nora White in the local parish hall at 8 p.m. Nora will speak on all things Ogham-related, in particular, the Ogham stones of Co Wicklow and the work of the national ‘Ogham in 3D’ project.
