VINTAGE CLUB

The first Vintage Day will be held in Coolgreany on Sunday, September 9. Plans for the day are advancing well so far, and it is hoped to have a very big response on the day with vintage cars and tractors of all years on exhibit. The plan is to have auto jumble stalls and vintage dress also.

Entertainment on the field will be provided by Stacey Breen with her lovely versions of old Country and Western Music. All exhibits and Trade Stands must be on the field by midday, and all vehicles must have their own insurance. The following are the Committee Officers: chairman: Dan Kennedy, Vice-chairman: Seán Kealy, secretary: Geraldine O’Rafferty, treasurer: Alan Flood. The committee are appealing to anyone who has an interest in vintage cars or tractors to join the club, the membership fee is set at a very reasonable sum of €25, and everyone is welcome to join. Next meeting is on next Wednesday evening at 8.30 p.m.
