Children’s day to be hosted by WSPCA

A GREAT day out for the whole family takes place at the home of Wicklow SPCA in Sharpeshill Animal Sanctuary, Ballyganon Mor.

A Children’s Day takes place on Sunday, August 26 from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and will include pony rides with Tina Binions of Healing Hands Therapeutic Riding Centre. Bring along the canine member of your family and take part in children’s dog training and care with Emmaline Duffy Fallon of Citizen Canine Ireland.

Black Sheep Crafts will be in attendance with some of the wonderful toy little pets they have available. There will also be a children’s book stall.

Visitors can also meet some of the fabulous canines and felines that are currently staying at Sharpeshill while still looking for a new permanent home.
