Flamenco music and dance night

AN evening of traditional Flamenco with John Walsh and Maria Delgado will take place at the Hot Spot Music Club on Friday, September 21.

Together they will take you on a musical journey through the various traditional styles that make up this exciting music from Andalucia. For the last 10 years John has been at the forefront of Flamenco in Ireland, as a performer, composer and educator. He has performed at a number of prestigious Flamenco festivals and venues in Spain as well as venues throughout Ireland such as the National Concert Hall, Gaiety Theatre and more. John has composed music for the National Ballet of Ireland, Riverdance and Michael Rooney’s De Cuellar Suite amongst others

Maria Delgado is an exponent of traditional Flamenco singing from the heart of Flamenco in Algeciras, Andalucia. She comes from a family of Flamenco artists and has been performing throughout Spain since 1976.

Doors open at 8 p.m. for a 9 p.m. show. Tickets are €14 - €17 and available at thehotspot.ie.
