Grants of €100 are available for low-income third-level students

-

BRAY Area Partnership is offering small, one-off grants of €100 to low income students who may be experiencing difficulties in meeting the costs of college registration, course or exam fees.

To qualify, applicants must be living in specific areas of Bray, Delgany, Enniskerry, Greystones, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue or Newcastle Lower.

Applicants must have a secure place on a Post Leaving Certificate or Higher Education undergraduate course, and also meet other Partnership target group criteria, such as being unemployed, low income or living in a low income household.

If the applicant does not have to pay college fees because for example, they are on VTOS, they do not qualify.

As there are only a limited number of grants available, students are encouraged to apply as soon as possible. Find out more on www.brayareapartnership.ie or call Lorna Lafferty on 01 2868266 to book an appointment to register.

This grants scheme is funded under the Social Inclusion and Community Activation Programme (SICAP) 2018- 2022, which is funded by the Irish Government through the Department of Rural and Community Development and co-funded by the European Social Fund under the Programme for Employability, Inclusion and Learning (PEIL) 2014-2020.
