Sue Ryder wins display award

THE creative talents of the staff at the Sue Ryder charity shop in Arklow were acknowledged as they accepted the Arklow Maritime Festival award for Best Shop Window Display.

Store manager Jo Walker and her team put in a huge effort decorating the shop window for this year’s festival and their Viking-themed display went down a treat with the judges.

Tommy Nolan and Tony Fennell paid a visit to the store in recent days to present the award to Jo and her team Janice Breen and Janet Doyle.
