Ploughing match in Newcastle

THE Rathdown Ploughing Society will hold their annual ploughing match on Saturday, September 5 in Newcastle.

The ploughing match will take place on the lands of Dennis Doyle up behind The Castle Inn and the location will be signposted along the way fr anyone wishing to take part or attend.

There will be a Champions Class, Vintage Class and Horse Class.
