Calary concert

Three more very exciting concerts have been announced for Calary Church for next month.

First up on Friday, September 7, at 8 p.m., Sarah Power (soprano) will be accompanied by Andrea Linsbauer (piano). They will perform favourite works by, among others, Bach, Mozart, Puccini and Schubert. Ella Nagy will join them with piano solos. Ella is another very promising young Irish pianist.

Then on Wednesday, September 12, at 8 p.m., it is the Janet Ashe Memorial Concert, where Fiachra Garvey (piano) will play works by Brahms, Chopin, Field, and Rachmaninov which he will be performing in Germany three days later and at various UK festivals.

Finally on Friday, September 14, Miriam Roycroft (cello) and Lance Coburn (piano) will play works by Beethoven, Chopin, Martinu and Moeran.
