Town secure league honours after a thriller

THE U-14 Arklow Town side were the toast of the club of the weekend as the stars of tomorrow scooped the Division A1 crown thanks to a sensational 7-6 victory over Newtown Juniors.

It was a thrilling match and full credit must go to both sides for producing some fantastic football throughout.

The Town and Juniors were locked at 3-3 at half time but the visitors shaded the second period to land the coveted silverware.

Sacad Muse netted twice for Town, while Owen Byrne, Oran Dunning, Peter Bodie, Aaron Dunne and Cian O’Neill all chipped in with singles.
