PARNELL ATHLETIC CLUB
Parnell Athletic Club are holding a 1-mile challenge race in Avondale Forest Park on Thursday, September 20, open to all clubs. We look forward to seeing all under-8, 10, 12, 14 and 16, Senior Ladies, Men and Mums and Dads.
Registration takes place at 6 p.m. Race starts at 6.30 p.m. This is a very important fundraiser for the club.
CAMOGIE CLUB NEWS
Congratulations to the Avondale camogie team on winning the Intermediate Championship on Saturday in Baltinglass. This completes a very successful year for the team, having already secured the league title. Well done to all involved, special mention for Brian Olohan and Helen Heffernan for their commitment to this team. Helen wore the Jersey again on Saturday and not for the first time did Avondale proud. Well done, girls.
