Corrigan’s Open Door Golf Classic a huge hit
The winners of this year’s Reggie Corrigan Cup for Open Door were George Hunter, Syl Fox, Ken O’Brien and Cyril Fox with 92 Points.
Reggie Corrigan himself came second, along with Ken Doherty, Barry Murphy, and ‘Bubbles’, with 89 points.
Maura Lernihan won ladies nearest the pin.
It was a great day of golf, followed with a meal, prize giving, and entertainment with Syl Fox.
The Reggie Corrigan Open Door Golf Classic takes place each year, and is always a fun and uplifting event.
All of the funds raised go towards funding activities at Open Door, including physiotherapy, art, ceramics, woodwork and music, for adults with physical disabilities.
Plenty of people came forward to enjoy a game of golf and help the centre at the same time. There was also support through teebox sponsorship and raffle prizes.
Participants enjoyed a delicious meal at Bray Golf Club, and comedian Syl Fox was as hilarious as ever on another unforgettable night for Open Door.
