Chris De Burgh to play his first Irish concert in decade

-

CHRIS de Burgh will take to the stage in Greystones to perform his first solo concert in Ireland in ten years – and all for a great cause.

The global star will perform at a very special concert at 8 p.m. in the Whale Theatre on Saturday, November 3, with the proceeds going to Greystones Cancer Support.

With over 45 million records sold worldwide, de Burgh is renowned for his ability to hold his audience in the palm of his hand as his dips in and out of a back catalogue that boasts such international hits as Don’t Pay the Ferryman, A Spaceman Came Travelling and, of course, Lady In Red. Having not played on Irish soil in a decade, demand for tickets is expected to be high for this intimate, once-in-a-lifetime gig.

Tickets cost €100 each and are available from the Whale Theatre in Greystones.
