TREE WALK: Enjoy the autumn show of colour on a gentle stroll through the woods of Glendalough. Learn how to identify trees by looking at their leaves, bark and seed. Suitable for adults and secondary school children, this walk begins at 11 a.m. from the information office at the Upper Lake in Glendalough. It is a free event but there is a €4 charge for the car park. Booking essential, call the NPWS office on 0404 45425. No dogs.
