FRIENDS IN LOW PLACES: Garth Brooks tribute show ‘Friends in Low Places’ will appear at the Avon Rí in Blessington this Saturday, September 29. The live, eightpiece band will have the audience on its feet as they perform hit after hit by one of country music’s biggest stars. Tickets cost €10 and include a free cowboy hat. Organisers will also donate €1 from each ticket sale to the campaign to buy a new rescue boat for the Blessington Lakes. Tickets are available from the reception in the Avon Rí.
