Volunteers needed for clean-up

DELGANY Tidy Towns is looking for people to get involved in an autumn village clean-up this weekend. There will also be volunteers needed to plant window boxes and planters.

Volunteers are asked to come to the village on Saturday or Sunday, October 6 or 7, any time between 10.30 a.m. and 12.30 p.m., even if it’s only for 20 minutes. There will be a tea and coffee station set up so there’ll be time for a break and a chat too. They’ll be meeting at the Wicklow Arms and ask residents to bring along equipment – brushes, spades, gloves, hoe etc.
