How to Catch a Star will be on at Mermaid Arts Centre in Bray on Tuesday and Wednesday, October 9 and 10.

Based on the beloved book by Oliver Jeffers and created by Branar with their signature style of story-telling, this show for audiences aged 4 and up reminds us all to follow our dreams.

Directed by Marc Mac Lochlainn, this non-verbal adaptation combines a magical original score by Colm Mac Con Iomaire with beautiful puppets designed by Suse Reibisch, puppetry by Neasa Ní Chuanaigh and Grace Kiely and an evocative set designed by Maeve Clancy. The production premièred at the Galway International Arts Festival in July 2017.

Branar Téatar do Pháistí, one of Ireland’s leading theatre companies for young audiences, is bringing the show to Bray as part of its 10-venue tour around Ireland.
