Road resurfacing and reconstruction projects
Members of Greystones Municipal District received a report last week on road resurfacing and reconstruction works in the area.
There was road recycling at the Old Downs Road, Willow Grove, with the 860 metres finished on June 20.
Some 4,120 meters of the Rathnew Road (R761) received surface dressing, with works started on July 13 and completed on July 16.
There was road surfacing at Chapel Road and the 115 metre project was completed on July 18.
Forty-five metres of resurfacing at Sylvan Lawns in Kilcoole was completed on July 19.
The R762 Mill Road in Greystones had 860 metres resurfaced. The surfacing works commenced on July 3 and were completed on July 27.
At Glenbrook Park, Gas Networks completed eight connections in advance of 400 metres of resurfacing. Virgin Media also installed ducting for high speed fibre, and all footpaths were replaced prior to resurfacing. The project was completed on September 21.
