LLOYDSPHARMACY has expanded its flu vaccination service to 52 stores nationwide, including Wicklow town.

The number of stores providing the flu vaccination has increased considerably from the 32 stores involved in 2017.

The flu vaccination service should take no longer than 30 minutes and will include a seasonal healthcare consultation from the pharmacist to ensure patient is suitable for the vaccination.

The flu vaccination is free of charge for patients over the age of 65 and at-risk patients aged between 18 and 64 who hold either a Medical Card, Doctor Visit Card, or have HAA eligibility.

For any at-risk patients over 18 years who are ineligible for an above scheme, a private flu vaccination will cost €15.

For all other patients who are not at-risk over 18 years, the flu vaccination will cost €20.
